We are excited to announce the launch of Korea Palace Guide, a website dedicated to introducing Korea’s royal palaces, royal culture, and seasonal events.
The idea for this website came from my own experience while planning a trip to Korea.
I found that it was difficult to find a Japanese website that clearly explained the differences between each royal palace, their highlights, and seasonal events in one place.
During my trip, I learned that Secret Garden (Huwon) at Changdeokgung Palace was open to visitors and wanted to make a reservation. However, I struggled not only to find the reservation page but also to understand the booking process and required information.
I also found that information about palace events and attractions was scattered across multiple websites, making it time-consuming to plan my visit.
That experience inspired me to create a website where travelers can quickly find the information they need in one place.
Korea is home to four beautiful royal palaces—Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Deoksugung, and Changgyeonggung. Each palace has its own unique history, architecture, and seasonal events, including special exhibitions and evening visits.
On Korea Palace Guide, I hope to provide not only basic information about each palace but also seasonal event updates, useful travel resources, and links to official websites to help visitors plan their trips more easily.
Although the website has just launched, I plan to continue expanding its content by adding articles about palace history, architecture, hanbok experiences, and nearby attractions.
I also hope to visit Korea regularly to verify information firsthand and share practical travel tips from a visitor’s perspective.
