Travelers visiting Korea will be able to enjoy Deoksugung Palace free of charge every Wednesday starting August 5, 2026.
This new initiative follows the expansion of Culture Day (문화가 있는 날), making it easier for more people to experience Korea’s cultural heritage.
Deoksugung is one of Korea’s Four Great Palaces and is known for its unique blend of traditional Korean architecture and Western-style buildings.
Visitors can explore historic landmarks such as Junghwajeon Hall and Seokjojeon Hall, while also enjoying a relaxing walk along the famous Deoksugung Stone Wall Road.
If you’re planning a trip to Seoul, consider visiting on a Wednesday to take advantage of free admission.
